An Inside Look at National Geographic’s, Secrets of the Whales

Inspiration can spark at a young age. Your future calling could find you at any moment. And as parents, we never know what will impact or shape our child’s passion. Celebrated National Geographic Explorer and Photographer Brian Skerry expressed that sentiment in a recent phone interview with Lansing Mom. During the conversation, Skerry stated how his fascination with the ocean, and marvelous creatures who call it home, was ignited when he was a child. Now after nearly four decades of exploring and documenting Earth’s oceans, he shares his stories and gives audiences an inside look at one of the world’s most beloved animals, whales, in the upcoming show Secrets of the Whales.

Skerry will join audiences at the Wharton Center of Performing Arts in East Lansing on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 4 p.m. to provide new insights into the lives and culture of whales that hold similarities to human kind.
