As summer rolls on sometimes we need a little inspiration for how to spend our summer days. The Lansing area is full of fun to be had so we’ve rounded up the most fun things to do this summer to get you out of the house and into the community!

Outdoor Fun In Lansing

Capitol Building| Whether it’s just a stop outside, or an actual tour the Capitol Building does not disappoint with it’s beauty.

Outdoor Fun Around Lansing

Farms within an hour| The MSU Horse Farm is great, other farms the littles may love are Domino’s, Maybury Farm, the farm at Kensington Metro Park and Mary’s Country Critters.

Visit a Michigan Zoo| There are no shortage of zoos in Michigan. Consider heading to Detroit, John Ball or Binder Park Zoo.

MSU Children’s Garden| Looking for some fun that smells good too? Head to the Children’s Garden at MSU.

MSU Ducks| Grab some duck food and head to the Red Cedar to see all the ducks gathered around campus.

Grand Ledge Riverwalk| Walk the river in Grand Ledge for beautiful views and family fun.

Head to a Nearby Town| Consider checking out towns like Williamston, Holt, Haslett and more.

Williamston Antique Market| This is a spot both kids and adults can love, there are beautiful treasures to find everywhere and it’s so much fun to spend a day hunting.
