We get it, we’ve got some picky eaters, we’ve got budgets and we’ve got time constraints. We’ve got big kids who want steak non-stop and our littles who would prefer a burger. Figuring it all out and bringing it all together to make everyone happy is no easy feat. Chef Alex Reitz shared the scoop on what he thinks is best for our budget and our family!

Alex’s Pick for budget and time? Chuck Roast. He shared with us that this is the perfect cut to throw in the slow cooker and to stretch our budget.

Alex’s Pick for lean meat? Bottom Round Roast. It’s great to be cooked low and slow, it might not be your time friendly pick but it can be found inexpensively and is great for sandwiches!

Fan Favorite? Ground Beef, a family favorite, is perfect for keeping the budget down, and you’re able to serve your choice [80/20 lean to fat or 90/10 for example] that you like for your family!

Alex has so many more suggestions that can be viewed in the video above.
