With a few weeks left in winter there is only so much time left to capture a winter memory! We’ve rounded up our favorite spots that would be perfect for your winter photo shoot. Read on for our top five winter photo spots in + around Lansing.

We’re going to start off by sharing an indoor spot that will keep you warm and toasty for family photos. No need to head out into the cold to capture memories during the winter. Head to The Lansing Studio and enjoy their wide variety of props and backgrounds available for your next photo session.

Harris Nature Center

Head to Harris Nature Center for so much fun and to enjoy a super cool winter photoshoot that will be original to you! You can go the traditional route or look into renting snow shoes for your shoot, its sure to be fun for everyone involved.

Birch Bend Farm

What’s more magical than a winter photo session? Add in some absolutely beautiful horses and it’s pure magic!

Suttons Bay

Head up north for the perfect winter photo shoot. Suttons Bay offers the perfect backdrop for your family photos. The charming town looks beautiful covered in snow and the colorful buildings will make your photos pop. Bonus you can head to hop lot for an extra magical winter season. 

Ice Skating

There are several rinks located around the Lansing area and if you are in for a fun playful session the ice rink could be the perfect spot for your family photos. Capture the lacing of little feet in skates, skating hand in hand, and maybe some silly spills too!
