Ways to Support Small Businesses This Season

The holiday season is upon us, and with it will come the huge advertisements from the big box stores. Huge sales on this year’s hottest toys, who could pass up those prices? During the most bustling time of the year small businesses are doing the best they can to compete and grab your attention, don’t forget to show them some love too! I’ve rounded up the best ways to support small business this season, even if you can’t shop!

Pink Friday

Pink Friday is November 19th! This is a new nationwide movement to shop small store deals before the big known event Black Friday. Check your favorite local shops to see if they have any deals or specials running on this Friday. It’s likely that their doors will be wide open and ready to welcome you and that these deals will run through the holiday season!

Important Dates

Small Business Saturday tags along the day after Black Friday. It is a good day to hit your local streets. Grab a hot coffee with a friend and wander through local shops ready to offer the best deals they can, no shipping required. Lunch while you’re out? Our Holiday guide dedicated to food can be found here.

They can’t offer the prices, sales, next day or free shipping but they can offer their heart and soul. Small businesses give back to their community with any chance they get. They truly care about every customer that walks through their door. This Holiday season don’t forget to support your favorite local shops too!
