In light of the global pandemic, your trip to the library may have changed. Many libraries in and around the area have community outreach services that are available including but not limited to make and take kits, mobile libraries, books by mail, and summer reading programs. Community Outreach Services
Make and Take Kits
Many local libraries offer free monthly Take It & Make It kits for kids and adults. There are different kits with activities age and skill-appropriate. Kits may include arts & crafts, STEM, and/or literacy activities.
Mobile Library
A Mobile Library is a vehicle packed full of an assortment of books, movies, music, and magazines. If they don’t have what you are looking for, they can easily get it.
Book by Mail
Books by Mail is a free service that puts library items into the hands of residents by the use of the postal system. Simply return the books in the given bag and get ready to order your next round of books.
