Recent events have put strain on mothers everywhere. Our loads are full between homeschooling, work, and providing for the needs of our families. Everything we do every day has been magnified, but for those on the frontline it is even greater.
We want to give a special shoutout to the moms out there who are shouldering taking care of family and also being out on the frontlines. Those moms who, when they leave their home in the morning or evening, step out in masks to take care of us, too, and not just their families.
Maybe they are afraid, but they are brave for us. They never hesitate to do what’s right to continue their jobs of caring for the community, and for that we can never thank them enough.
Not sure who to nominate? Doctors, nurses, midwives, doulas, medical assistants, radiologists, first responders, lab staff, and more. If you think the mom you want to nominate is on the frontlines, we want to hear about her.
How It Works:
Here at Lansing Mom, we are looking for those moms who head out to the frontline every day and we need your help. If you know a mama who is out on the frontlines, we want you to nominate them here so we can recognize all of their efforts.
We will be sharing their stories here on Lansing Mom, to express our gratitude, along with entering those mamas into a drawing for a gift card to Foster Coffee Co.

- Lansing Mom will draw for the gift card and announce the week of June 29.
- All Mama’s stories will be shared on either Facebook or Instagram.
