Halloween is here and it’s time to bring out the spooky season books! Head to your local library to pick up a few of these great family reads. We promise your family will love these not-so-spooky Halloween kids books.

    This is a funny story about a witch who keeps picking up riders—until there is no room left on the broom! A cute, animated version is available on Netflix that follows the text of the book word for word.
  10. Gustavo the Shy Ghost by Flavia Z. Drago
    An adorable story about Gustavo, a shy ghost who finds courage to make friends. There is also a Spanish edition of this book available here.
