Happy Hour is a tradition that started in the Navy in 1913 as an organized socialization by the club called the Happy Hour Social. You don’t have to be in the Navy to celebrate though, you can do it from our favorite local spots, or the comfort of your home. No matter what you’re looking for in a Happy Hour, even if it’s a mocktail, we’ve got you covered!
Cocktail Hour At Home
Maybe the video drew you into this post! It’s of one of my absolute favorite drinks. I love making it but always think Happy Hour is better with friends! Grab some of your besties and invite them over for a social hour. Below are five steps to a fun Happy Hour!
- Make it fancy, bust out the special glasses, have cocktail stirrers, go the whole way!
- Have snacks, be sure to have things laid out for people to munch on as they sip.
- Create a fun cocktail that your guests will love, Pinterest can offer so much inspiration to crafty cocktails for your whole party.
- Offer mocktails for anyone not drinking, you’re never too old for a Shirley Temple!
- Be sure to drink responsibly and have a DD available for anyone who may need it!
